Last Friday I went in for my 3 month appointment for a check up on Baby Gardner. Our OB did another ultrasound and measurement and we are right on track! Since our last meeting Baby G has made some serious progress. Fingers and toes are now present and it's limbs are not so stubby anymore. It even rolled away from us so I got to see it's beautiful spine. Being a soon-to-be Chiropractor mom, I was quite proud.
According to the book "What To Expect When You're Expecting", Baby G is about this size of a small peach and my uterus is about the size of a grapefruit (I love their use of food as an analogy). I'm just about to enter trimester numero dos and I've heard that it's the honeymoon out of all three trimesters. Thankfully my first trimester was a piece of cake, no morning sickness and no problems, so if my second is supposedly better than the first than bring it on!
In other news Paul and I moved to a new casa. Our previous residence had four flights of stairs, narrow hallways and was not baby proof, which posed a problem with regards to toting child and gear around in. So we lucked out and found a bigger, nicer, newer place just down the road and now call it home. We officially moved in approximately a week and a half ago and still have lots of organizing and decorating to do, but it's nice to be able to stretch out a little and have one single flight of stairs instead of four.
